  • Tech tools & services

Any tool worth using should help accomplish a goal. Most tech tools are unnecessary & over-complicated. Here's the 1% worth your time.
    • MadMimi Email Marketing
37signals style email marketing. Extremely personal customer service. Simple interface, but powerful features too. Great blend for tech-savvy, time-crunched entrepreneurs and small businesses.
    • Chrome for Mac
I live in this web browser day-in, day-out. I love how you can turn a website into an application. Furthermore, Chrome renders Javascript faster than any other web browser on the market!
    • Gmail
The best e-mail service hands-down. I also use Google Apps at work, which is private-label Gmail.
    • Squarespace.com
SaaS content management system and host of this website. Easy to use, great customer service, founders are kick-ass bootstrappers with a great story.
    • NOT RECOMMENDED ANY LONGER Salesforce.com
Too complicated, bloated, designed for huge companies. Web-based CRM software
    • NOT RECOMMENDED ANY LONGER Central Desktop
Too complicated - product is becoming bloated and seems to be designed for fortune 1000. Sharepoint-like collaboaration tool, 100% web-based and in the cloud.
